Dr. Paszko’s presentation on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 10:30 AM titled, “Facilitating ISO 17025 NELAC Compliance and Good Automated Laboratory Practices (GALP) with LIMS”, will provide examples of ways in which LIMS and laboratory automation facilitate regulatory compliance with ISO 17025, NELAC, and GALP, with the added benefits of cost savings, improved data quality, enhanced communication and efficiency. Sonja Stutsman will give a presentation at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 titled, “Is Your LIMS Stuck in the 90’s? It Is Time To Go Mobile”. This presentation discusses the benefits of mobile technology (smart phones and tablets) for field data collection, including elimination of paper forms, decreasing transcription errors, real-time data synchronization, and the ability to add new samples on the fly.
