October 22, 2013: Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc. (ATL), is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Joanne Dussourd to the Director of Support.
In this role, Dr. Dussourd will mentor and manage the ATL Support Team in continuing to provide superior support to ATL’s clients and partners. She will direct the technical support team, which will work on LIMS product upgrades, enhancements, customizations and instrument integration services. Her team will also assist in the evaluation and testing of new product lines and contribute to technical documentation including manuals, training guides and knowledge base articles. Dr. Dussourd will also work with ATL’s Implementation Team to provide technical support for installation and configuration of ATL LIMS Solutions.

Dr. Dussourd joined ATL’s Implementation and Support Team in 2004 as a Software Engineer and in 2007she received a promotion to Sr. Software Engineer. She is an ATL Certified Trainer and an instructor for the Advanced Training Boot Camp and Report Writing Course through the ATL University, which will celebrate 15 years in 2014. Dr. Dussourd has a Ph.D. in Physiology along with a B.S. in Biology from Cornell University. She also holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a 4.0 grade average from the University of Central Arkansas. Her unique combination of a strong laboratory background and computer science expertise makes her an ideal candidate for her new position.
