May 28, 2015: Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc. (ATL) will host the sixth in a series of webcasts on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 entitled LIMS Without Limits: Using Mobile Technology. During this webcast we will focus on the topic of mobile technology and how laboratories are using these tools (tablets, smartphones and rugged laptops) to automate tasks within a laboratory information management system (LIMS) to increase productivity and generate quality data while remaining competitive.
ATL has developed a solution that leverages mobile technology to upload testing site data in real-time (or cached) and eliminate the need to manually re-enter data and field measurements or return hard copies to the laboratory. This solution, iMobile, has been developed for use with either of ATL’s LIMS products, Sample Master® or TITAN®.
With either Sample Master® iMobile or TITAN® iMobile, data from the field including electronic chain of custody, collector information, date/time stamps, location information, descriptions, GIS coordinates, test results, notes and more is encrypted and transmitted securely to the laboratory where it is uploaded effortlessly into the LIMS. The ability to utilize mobile technology to quickly and accurately collect field data and wirelessly transmitting it directly to the LIMS and eliminate transcription errors provides the lab with a huge productivity gain and decreased operating costs.
During this webcast we will provide an overview of our iMobile solution and highlight the business benefits that it brings to the laboratory. We will also walk through a Sample Master® iMobile case study, including an ROI review, and wrap up with an iMobile demonstration.
