How LIMS Accelerates Data Analysis and Communication
(Food Labs Track)

How LIMS Accelerates Data Analysis and Communication will focus on the fact that the food industry is under enormous pressure to produce high quality products while adhering to stringent food safety regulations. These include those related to Good Manufacturing Practices, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). Many successful food companies face these regulatory challenges armed with a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) designed to help facilitate food safety testing and regulatory compliance. This presentation will focus on the benefits a food company will gain when a LIMS becomes a key component of a company’s food safety compliance strategy.

ATL has been a leader in laboratory automation solutions since 1994 and has a strong and growing reputation in the food and beverage sector. A recent example of ATL’s industry expertise can be seen in a recent article published in the online industry publication FoodSafetyTech. The article, Traceability: Leveraging Automation to Satisfy FSMA Requirements, articulates the value that a LIMS can make in helping food producers comply with the ever-evolving regulatory landscape while protecting their brand and maximizing production.
