June 28, 2016: Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc. (ATL) is excited to announce the introduction of virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT) courses for ATL Sample Master® and TITAN® Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). The initial courses being offered will focus on report writing for Sample Master® and TITAN® but the goal will be to expand vILT offerings to training topics that have been requested by ATL’s customers.ATL believes that vILT delivery will provide its students with a number of benefits over traditional classroom training including the following:
- Reduced cost – vILT is live training delivered over the Internet, eliminating travel and time costs.
- Convenience – vILT students can participate wherever they want as long as they have access to the Internet and a computer with minimum technical requirements.
- Powerful collaborative tools – the vILT training platform ATL leverages state-of-the-art tools and incorporates live audio/video, screen sharing and private breakout rooms for one-on-one tutoring.
- Modular scheduling – to allow our students to integrate training into their normal work schedule, ATL is breaking up the course in sessions of 1-2 hours and scheduling these sessions over a period of time. The sessions will also be recorded – a benefit when schedules change unexpectedly or if students want to review certain elements of the training.
