LIMS: A Critical Tool for Achieving and Maintaining Regulatory Compliance |
LIMS: A Critical Tool for Achieving and Maintaining Regulatory Compliance will highlight the role of a laboratory information management system (LIMS) in helping the laboratory achieve and maintain compliance with government bodies and industry standards in the environmental sector. We will review a checklist of LIMS capabilities that are specifically designed to ensure regulatory compliance, NELAC accreditation and meeting ISO 17025 requirements. The presentation will also feature several case studies involving utilities (including Prince William County Service Authority (VA) and Citizens Energy in Indiana) who will describe the role that their LIMS has played in helping them meet their regulatory compliance requirements as well as providing other significant benefits which have helped optimize the laboratory’s efficiency.
During the Conference, ATL will be showcasing our market leading LIMS solutions, Sample Master® and TITAN®, along with our web portal (Result Point®), field data collection products (iMobile for Sample Master® and TITAN®), and instrument integration services. Result Point® provides 24/7 access to sample status, test results, reports, EDDs, invoices and more from any desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone. You can grant access to clients and non-laboratory members of your organization as well as providing them with real-time results and reporting anytime and anywhere. With iMobile, field collectors can leverage mobile technology to transmit field data back to the lab in real time. Data can include electronic chain of custody, test results and location information including GIS coordinates.
ATL has been providing LIMS solutions to water/wastewater/environmental laboratories for over twenty years and is one reason why we have been a longtime exhibitor at the VA AWWA/ VWEA Good Laboratory Practice Conference. ATL looks forward to seeing our existing customers and meeting new clients on July 24-25th in Charlottesville.
The VA AWWA VWEA 23rd Annual Good Laboratory Practice Conference is designed to provide the latest information on major issues such as method updates, laboratory accreditation, and new technologies. Attendance is recommended for any environmental professional involved in water/wastewater analysis including laboratory analysts and managers, plant operators and regulatory personnel.
