ATL to Present LIMS Solutions at CWEA

June 5, 2019: Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc. (ATL), a leader in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), is excited to announce that it will present and exhibit at the California Water Environment Association (CWEA) Tri-Counties June Workshop. The Workshop will take place June 13th at the City of Simi Valley Water Quality Control Plant in Simi Valley, California.

Rick Danielson, Ph.D., Senior Sales Account Executive at ATL, will present Graduating from Spreadsheets to a True LIMS. Due to announced changes in California’s Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP), there has been increased interest among CWEA members in LIMS as an ideal solution for ensuring that they can comply with the state’s ELAP accreditation requirements. This presentation should appeal to attendees who currently are using paper logbooks or simple spreadsheets to perform sample management, analysis and reporting.

The presentation will offer compelling reasons why laboratories should look at upgrading to a LIMS, especially with some of the latest technology innovations that now make a LIMS affordable to even small laboratories. We will offer guidance on planning for a LIMS and walk through a checklist of key benefits gained from graduating from logbooks and spreadsheets.
