July 6, 2021: Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc. (ATL), a leader in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), is pleased to announce that it will be presenting at the 2021 National Environmental Monitoring Conference (NEMC), the largest conference in North America focused on environmental measurements. This year’s NEMC will be a hybrid (in-person and virtual) event on August 2-5, and a virtual-only event on August 9-12. The in-person event will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, Washington.
ATL’s presentation is entitled Using a LIMS to Solve Today’s Most Common Laboratory Challenges. ATL will discuss common obstacles that prevent environmental laboratories from realizing their full operational efficiency, meeting regulatory requirements, and generating high quality data. The focus will transition to providing valuable guidance on how labs are leveraging advances in LIMS and laboratory automation to conquer these challenges.

The presentation will include the following:
- Traceability –The ability to trace back from sample login to disposal is becoming increasingly important based on changes to standards such as TNI and ISO 17025.
- Data integrity – Learn how companies are integrating LIMS, laboratory automation, and sensors to eliminate data quality issues.
- Reporting – Automating this entire process is a significant time saver by leveraging Web portals and automated emails to reduce turnaround time, thus increasing lab productivity, and lowering operational costs.
- Attaining/maintaining laboratory certifications – Quality standards such as TNI and ISO 17025 put significant pressure on laboratories to keep accurate track of hundreds of data points, QC data, laboratory supplies, instrument calibration records, and employee training records.
ATL has been providing LIMS solutions to environmental laboratories for more than 25 years and is excited to be back at the NEMC. For more information, including agenda and registration details, please visit the conference website at https://nemc.us.
ATL, headquartered in West End, NC, provides laboratory automation solutions to a variety of industries from analytical, environmental, food & beverage, water and wastewater, agriculture, cannabis, chemical, government, public health and manufacturing.
