Transitioning to a New LIMS and Key Factors to Consider in Changing LIMS |
Going Mobile with LIMS for Field Data Collection will focus on how environmental laboratories are using innovative methods to manage operations more effectively to maximize productivity and reduce costs. The presentation will highlight several case studies where laboratories leveraged mobile technology to improve their field data collection process. The benefits realized went well beyond just eliminating the use of paper forms and importing field data directly into a laboratory’s LIMS. It also included significant reductions in daily personnel costs, higher data quality and provided laboratory analysts with access to real-time field data. Finally, the presentation will review the return on investment (ROI) that mobile technology has meant to these organizations and provide data to make the case for investing in technology.
Transitioning to a New LIMS and Key Factors to Consider in Changing LIMS will help attendees identify key factors to consider when transitioning to a new LIMS. This informative presentation is ideal for laboratories that have been limping along with old data management technology that lacks support or is seriously outdated. Not doing anything means a laboratory that is underperforming and may be at risk from meeting regulatory compliance or required industry certifications. The presentation will focus on the steps an organization can take to successfully transition to a new LIMS designed to optimize the lab’s productivity and data quality while helping to reduce operational costs.
